The Niagara IceDogs first round series against the Barrie Colts is now a best-of-five.
Niagara picked up a 4-3 overtime win in Barrie Saturday night to even up the first round matchup at one game apiece.
Hayden Reid played the hero for the IceDogs, scoring his first of the playoffs with assists being credited to Blake Barnes and Riley Patterson. Patterson also added a goal, while Ryerson Edgar and Ethan Czata also found the back of the net.
The game did see IceDogs captain Ethan Czata ejected following a slew-footing penalty. There's no word yet from the OHL about whether he'll be suspended for game three, while Barrie is expected to have Kashawn Aitcheson back in the lineup after a two game suspension.
Game three goes Tuesday at 7:00pm from the Meridian Centre, full coverage can be heard on Niagara's New Country 89.1 starting at around 6:45pm.
