Nicholas Adamson went missing on March 17, 2022
Human remains discovered in Hamilton Harbour have been confirmed as those of missing St. Catharines man Nicholas Adamson.
The 29-year-old was last seen on foot near the Moose & Goose bar in Thorold on March 17, 2022.
Niagara Regional Police had been actively investigating his disappearance since then.
On December 5, 2024, Hamilton Police recovered remains near the harbour.
DNA was submitted to the RCMP’s National Data Bank, and on April 24, a match confirmed the identity.
Niagara Police say foul play is not suspected, and the missing person case has now been officially closed.
