Hull scores twice as IceDogs fall to Colts

Chase Hull scored two in the middle period but the IceDogs couldn't hold off Barrie falling 5-3 Thursday night at the Meridian Centre.

Down 1-0 after one as both teams recorded 7 first period shots, Hull's first came at 1:34 of the second to even the score. Trailing 2-1, Ryan Roobroeck notched his team leading 25th at 6:44. Hull deflected home his 11th of the season with 5:02 to go in period two. Vladislav Yermolenko was again outstanding, stopping 14 Barrie attempts.

In the third, an early even strength goal, a power play tally and a late insurance goal closed out the scoring for the night. The IceDogs were outshot 30-18.
