The Hotel Dieu Shaver Foundation is getting ready for the fourth annual Hope in Motion fundraiser, celebrating the strength and resilience of rehab patients.
The mobility-inclusive event takes place September 19 at Canada Games Park, with participants invited to walk, run, roll or use whatever mobility aid works best for them.
This year’s event will highlight three Hotel Dieu Shaver graduates, Debbie, Frank and Shelley who have overcome major challenges with the help of the hospital’s rehab teams.
Money raised will support vital patient-care equipment at Hotel Dieu Shaver, Niagara’s only rehabilitation hospital.
