Hotel Dieu Shaver Foundation is getting ready for its fourth annual Hope in Motion fundraiser on Saturday, September 19th.
The mobility-inclusive event at Canada Games Park brings together patients, healthcare staff, families, program graduates and community supporters to raise money for specialized patient equipment.
Participants can move around the track at their own pace, with goals ranging from 50 metres to 5,000 metres.
The event gets underway with registration at 10 a.m., followed by opening ceremonies at 11:15 and the track opening at 11:30.
Funds raised will help purchase equipment to support rehabilitation and improve quality of life for patients at Hotel Dieu Shaver.
