Police responded to Canborough Road near the Haldimand County border
Niagara Regional Police responded to a robbery on Canborough Road in West Lincoln near the Haldimand County border.
Around 4:50 a.m. on Tuesday, June 10, homeowners caught two suspects breaking into their vehicles.
One homeowner was assaulted and taken to hospital with minor injuries.
The suspects fled in a stolen vehicle from Hamilton, later abandoned, and then took off in a black Dodge Charger stolen from Haldimand County. Its licence plate is CSFM 216.
Police urge anyone who sees the vehicle to call 911 and not to approach.
Anyone with security footage or information is asked to contact detectives.
