More thunderstorms possible Tuesday

Residents in St. Catharines and Thorold are reporting flooding after severe thunderstorms swept through the area overnight.

The Niagara Peninsula Conservation Authority is warning residents about the dangers of high water levels in some other areas, including low-lying areas of the city.

The NPCA says while major flooding along larger waterways isn't expected, areas like creeks and rivers could still pose a risk as water banks become slippery.

More thunderstorms are possible in today's forecast as well.
