Since becoming Chancellor of Brock University in October 2020, Hilary Pearson has been inspired by the University community.
Pearson has now been re-elected for a third term as Chancellor, starting July 1, 2026, through June 30, 2029.
Her distinguished career spans senior roles in the federal government, advising top Quebec corporations, and 18 years as founding President of Philanthropic Foundations Canada.
Honoured with the Order of Canada in 2018, Pearson and her husband, Michael Sabia, also gifted $500,000 to support student awards celebrating the legacy of Laura Sabia, a trailblazing Niagara politician and journalist.
