The St. Catharines Museum and Welland Canals Centre is once again inviting the public to step into the past with the 14th annual Guided Spirit Walks at Victoria Lawn Cemetery this September.
This year’s theme, “What happened to Michael O’Meala?”, dives into a tale of mystery and true crime from the 1850s in St. Catharines.
Along the way, theatrical performances will bring to life stories of notable historical figures interred in the cemetery, including Ann McNamara, Eliza McClelland, Oliver Phelps, Adam Montgomery, Nancy Rykert, Thomas Burns, and Charles Camp.
The popular event takes place at 431 Queenston Street, while advance tickets are required and go on sale today.
Space is limited, so early booking is recommended at the city's website.
