It's not just gas prices that are going up in light of the escalated tensions in the Middle East, as we saw them jump 6 cents a litre yesterday, and they're go up 3 more cents today.
The President of Canadians For Affordable Energy, Dan McTeague says an even more extreme jump in the price of diesel fuel could also hit all of us in the pocketbook.
McTeague says the conflict in the Middle East is partly to blame, but this is also the time of year when diesel is more popular than gasoline. Diesel prices have climbed 24 cents a litre this week.
McTeague also worries about the inflationary pressures that come with all of this.
