More than 140 pets are now better protected against rabies thanks to a free vaccination clinic in Welland.
Niagara Region Public Health and VCA Canada vaccinated 145 dogs and cats at Holy Trinity Anglican Church last week.
Public Health says the clinic helped make rabies protection more accessible by removing cost and access barriers.
Demand was high, with all appointments filling quickly.
