Free mobile skin cancer screening unit making stops in Niagara this week

Melanoma Canada’s Mole Mobile, a mobile skin cancer screening unit will make stops across Niagara this summer.

It will be in Fort Erie at the Garrison Road Shopping Centre on Thursday, Niagara Falls at the Community Health Centre on Friday, and St. Catharines at Quest Community Health Centre on Saturday. All three dates have hours of 10:00am to 4:00pm.

The Mole Mobile brings certified dermatologists directly to communities to offer free skin cancer screenings and promote early detection.

The initiative focuses on underserved areas and regions with long wait times for dermatology services.

Supported by the Canadian Dermatology Association, the tour aims to save lives through faster diagnosis and greater awareness.
