Fort Erie has unveiled new Legion Crosswalks in partnership with the Fort Erie and Ridgeway Legions.
Installed at some of the community's busiest locations, the crosswalks serve as a lasting tribute to Canada's veterans and the sacrifices they made.
The design honours veterans and active service members while recognizing Fort Erie and Ridgeway's proud military history.
Town officials say the crosswalks are meant to encourage residents and visitors to pause, reflect and remember those who served.
