A serious crash on Sunday in Fort Erie has sent two people to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Sunday afternoon around 2, Niagara Regional Police responded to an accident at the intersection of Helena St and Dominion Rd, involving a white Nissan SUV and a red Harley-Davidson motorcycle.
Both occupants on the motorcycle were taken to an out-of-region hospital with life-threatening injuries, while a passenger in the SUV was taken to a local hospital and has since been released.
The intersection was closed until 9 that evening while investigators examined the scene, with the circumstances of the accident remaining under investigation. NRP is asking for witnesses or anyone with dash cam footage to contact police.
