Ontario Premier Doug Ford has seemingly shifted his tone when it comes to governance review in the Niagara Region.
Earlier this month at at South Niagara Hospital media event, Ford said he would respect what the majority of mayors decided on when it came to the topic of governance and potential amalgamation in Niagara.
Despite eight of of twelve mayors suggesting reform instead of amalgamation, Ford said yesterday that his government would continue to look into the possibility of it on their end.
