The FirstOntario Performing Arts Centre and Bridges Niagara are teaming up tonight for an evening that celebrates Niagara’s newcomer community.
From 4:30 to 7:30 p.m., the Holiday Newcomer Market in Robertson Theatre will feature dozens of immigrant and newcomer-led vendors offering food, art, clothing, accessories and more.
The event continues at 7:30 p.m. in Partridge Hall with a pay-what-you-can performance by Kuné World, an 11-piece ensemble made up of musicians from 10 countries and a Métis-Canadian artist.
The night highlights the growing impact of newcomer entrepreneurs and artists in Niagara.
