Federal investment to Lincoln's shoreline the largest in town history

A major investment is coming to Lincoln’s shoreline.

The federal government is providing up to $33.7 million to help protect Lake Ontario waterfront areas from flooding, erosion and extreme weather damage.

The project includes relocating roads farther inland, upgrading infrastructure and adding new shoreline protection measures along vulnerable areas.

Town officials say it’s the largest infrastructure investment in Lincoln’s history.
