A head-on collision in Niagara-on-the-Lake today has left one driver dead and another injured.
At approximately 6:45 this morning, officers were called to the area of Portage Road near Stanley Avenue where they found a two-vehicle crash. One driver was pronounced dead at the scene and another was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
An investigation by the Collision Reconstruction Unit is underway with early information suggesting the deceased driver suffered a medical episode while operating the vehicle.
