Niagara Regional Police are continuing to investigate a fatal hit-and-run involving a pedestrian in Niagara Falls.
The incident occurred on Sunday, August 10, 2025, at approximately 10:00 p.m., when officers were called to the area of Montrose Road and Greendale Street following reports of a motor vehicle collision.
Police say the collision involved a pedestrian and a white, four-door Audi SUV equipped with a large moonroof.
The driver failed to remain at the scene and was last seen travelling southbound on Montrose Road toward Lundy’s Lane.
The victim, 63-year-old Suresh Lal, was transported to a hospital outside the region, where he later died from his injuries.
Lal’s family is now appealing to the public for information that may help bring closure to the case.
