Hamilton Health Sciences will lead an emergency response exercise at the former West Lincoln Memorial Hospital site next week.
On December 9th from 9:00am to noon, a mock “active attacker” scenario will involve HHS staff, Niagara Police, Hamilton Police, and paramedic services from both regions, giving teams an opportunity to practice and refine emergency procedures.
During the exercise, visitors may see increased activity and a larger presence of first responder vehicles around the old hospital site.
The drill will not affect services at the new West Lincoln Memorial Hospital. All clinics and the emergency department will operate as usual.
