Earth Week events planned across Niagara Region

Niagara Region is marking spring with a series of environmental events through April and May, including Earth Week activities and Spring Compost Events in May.

During Earth Week, residents can drop off items like housewares, textiles, and batteries at regional depots for recycling and a chance to win prizes.

Meantime, Pelham Advocates for Trees and Habitat, known as PATH-is marking Earth Week with two community events.

A rally takes place tomorrow at Pelham Old Town Hall, featuring guest speakers, Indigenous drumming and live music.

Then on Monday, PATH hosts a cleanup of the Steve Bauer Trail, starting at 9:30 a.m. at the Quaker Road entrance.
