An inquest has been scheduled into the death of 61-year-old Michael Anthony Diodati.
The hearing will begin April 13 at 9:30 a.m., examining the circumstances surrounding his death in November 2021 at Niagara Health’s Niagara Falls Hospital after being transferred from the Niagara Detention Centre.
The inquest is mandatory under the Coroners Act and is expected to last about 12 days, with a jury able to make recommendations to help prevent similar deaths.
