College support staff strike ends with tentative deal

Around 10,000 support workers at Ontario’s public colleges have reached a tentative deal with their employer.

The strike began on Sepember 11th with job security and college funding cited as the most pressing issues.

The workers, including those at Niagara College, are now scheduled to return to work Thursday. Last week, NC announced it postponed its postponed this fall's convocation ceremonies.

The new deal will still need an official vote to ratify it.
