Rain water often used for gardens thanks to benefits
St. Catharines residents can buy rain barrels through the city from now until the end of the month.
The barrels are used by residents throughout the year to collect rainwater, usually for use in their gardens while reducing water pollution, while also helping reduce water bills throughout the warmer months of the year.
Natural rain water can also be beneficial for plant health, for those who enjoy gardening.
Barrels can be ordered online through the city at a cost of $60.
