The City of St. Catharines is looking for Indigenous artists to help shape a new public space downtown.
The city is launching a competition to create a permanent artwork for the Five Corners parkette, recognizing the area's deep Indigenous history as a place of travel, gathering and connection.
One artist or artist team will be selected for the commission, valued at $140,000.
Expressions of interest are being accepted until July 12.
