Niagara Falls and Niagara Parks will mark the 25th anniversary of 9/11 with a ceremony overlooking the Falls tomorrow morning.
The roughly 40-minute ceremony will be held at Table Rock Centre starting at 8:15; recognizing the nearly 3,000 people who lost their lives, while honouring the first responders who ran toward the danger and those still dealing with the health impacts years later.
The Canada-U.S. relationship will also be highlighted, reflecting the strong bond between Niagara Falls and its American neighbours.
The ceremony will include both national anthems, with a moment of silence at approximately 8:46 and a bagpipe performance of Amazing Grace.
