Brock researchers looking into workplace challenges for astronauts

Space travel may look extraordinary, but astronauts still face everyday workplace challenges, says Brock University researcher Kirsten Robertson.

She is part of a national research team studying how astronauts on the International Space Station cope with stress and find meaning in their work.

The study, supported by the Canadian Space Agency, will use surveys, interviews, journals, and biological data to better understand emotional well-being during missions.

Robertson says the findings could help improve conditions for workers in high-pressure, remote environments here on Earth.
