Brock University marked a major milestone Monday with the opening of its new Burlington Campus, and has some extra funding to go with it.
The celebration coincided with a provincial announcement of $5.2 million in funding that will create 360 new teacher education spaces across Brock’s campuses.
The Burlington site serves as a hub for Teacher Education and Applied Disability Studies programs, equipped with modern science labs, active learning spaces, and collaborative study areas.
Students began in-person classes there this September, joining a vibrant campus that also houses library services, Indigenous student supports, and community programming.
