Brian Wilson, co-creator of the Beach Boys dies at 82

Diagnosed with dementia last year

Brian Wilson, iconic frontman and co-founder of the Beach Boys, has died at the age of 82, his family confirmed.

Born in 1942 in Hawthorne, California, Wilson teamed up with his brothers Carl and Dennis, cousin Mike Love, and friend Al Jardine to form the Beach Boys—one of America's most influential and beloved rock bands.

In early 2024, it was publicly revealed that Wilson had been diagnosed with dementia.
