Niagara police have laid charges against two Toronto men following an investigation into two attempted bank robberies in Wainfleet and Pelham.
Police say 18-year-old Jayon Burgher and 22-year-old Brandon Brown were arrested Monday in Toronto and brought back to Niagara for a bail hearing.
Burgher is charged with attempted robbery and disguising with intent, while Brown faces an attempted robbery charge.
Detectives say the investigation, which involved police services across the GTA, also linked the pair to an attempted home invasion in Thorold in January.
