Niagara Regional Police Service detectives have made another arrest in connection with the September 24th shooting in Grimsby.
On March 13, 2026, 27-year-old Bellaluddin Shahabuddin of Thorold was taken into custody and charged with the following offences.
- Conspiracy to Commit and Indictable Offence
- Aggravated Assault
- Careless Use of a Firearm
- Discharging a Firearm with Intent to Wound
- Pointing a Firearm
- Carrying a Concealed Weapon
- Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm in a Motor Vehicle
SHAHABUDDIN remains in custody and is scheduled to attend a bail hearing Monday, March 16, 2026.
To date, there have been 6 arrests and 128 total charges laid in relation to the shooting investigation.
