Environment Canada has issued an orange air quality warning for the Niagara Region.

Officials says quality is expected to deteriorate throughout the day Wednesday as smoke from wildfires in Northwestern Ontario move into the area.

During heavy smoke conditions, you're urged to limit your time outdoors, and may notice symptoms such as eye, nose or throat irritation, headaches or a cough.
