Port Colborne residents will once again have the chance to support a greener future when the City’s annual tree giveaway and rain barrel sale returns on September 27th.
The event, hosted by the City of Port Colborne and its Environmental Advisory Committee, will be held at the Vale Health & Wellness Centre.
With 500 trees available and a limit of two per household, participants can choose from several native species to plant on private property, part of the City’s efforts to grow its urban tree canopy.
Proof of Port Colborne residency is required.
