23rd annual Niagara Children's Water Festival educating children on water conservation

Niagara Region, alongside Brock University, the City of St. Catharines, the Niagara Peninsula Conservation Authority and Ontario Power Generation, has officially kicked off the 23rd annual Niagara Children’s Water Festival.

The four-day event brings Grade 4 students from across Niagara together for hands-on learning about water conservation, protection, science and technology.

With 30 interactive activity centres led by local partners, the festival aims to inspire students to take action at home, school and in their communities.

About 1,500 parents, teachers and volunteers are also expected to take part until Friday.
