Renovations are underway, but St. Catharines beaches will be ready for the season in May.
Lakeside Park Beach will welcome visitors with washrooms opening May 1, while Sunset Beach is on track to reopen in time for the long weekend, though some finishing touches like the playground and boat ramp will continue afterward.
Residents can purchase online Beach Parking permits for $16.25 for the season, while boat launch permits are $109.25.
Paid parking runs May 1 to September 30, with rates and time limits at both beaches.
The City asks beachgoers to be respectful, keep dogs leashed, and clean up after themselves.
