What's Good in Niagara? West Lincoln making final preparations for International Plowing Match

Now with just over a month until the International Plowing Match, West Lincoln is making final preparations to host tens of thousands of spectators.

Mayor Cheryl Ganann says being selected to host this year has brought a ton of excitement.

The International Plowing Match dates back to 1913, and has been held in rural communities across Ontario ever since.

Mayor Ganann says this is a great opportunity for people to come learn more about agriculture, and West Lincoln.

The match hasn't been held in Niagara in 99 years, when it was in Niagara Falls and Welland.

Ganann says they're expecting quite a few people in the area, which will benefit local business greatly.

The IPM is the largest outdoor event of its kind in Canada & it is the only event of its magnitude that moves to a new location each year.
