What's Good in Niagara? Welland Santa Parade a great chance to give back

As we get closer and closer to Christmas, Santa Claus is making more and more stops across the Niagara Region as different cities are hosting their own parades.

Tomorrow is Welland's parade, starting at 5:00pm.

Mayor Frank Campion says doing the parade after dark always make it a bit more vibrant.

Civic Square in Welland is also home to the 2025 Mitten Tree, a place to donate things like mittens, hats and scarves to help keep people warm.

Campion says this is a great initiative.

At 6:30 p.m., you can choice city staff for a chili cookoff between the Welland Fire and Emergency Services and the Niagara Regional Police Services.
