With the CEBL playoffs just around the corner, the Niagara River Lions have just one goal - repeat as champions.
The River Lions have once again clinched first place in the Eastern Conference, meaning they'll have a bye to the conference finals.
This isn't new for Niagara, who was in this exact position two years ago, before ultimately coming up short.
Head Coach and General Manager Vic Raso says that experience helped them a lot last season, when they eventually went on to win their first championship.
When comparing this year's team to the one that won the championship in 2024, Raso says it took a bit longer for the group to click this year - but that's not a bad thing.
The River Lions will play the Eastern Conference final on August 22nd during CEBL Championship Weekend in Winnipeg.
