New scanners will provide faster service for patients
Niagara Health has celebrated the completion of their latest project this week.
The organization has now finished a system-wide replacement of their CT scanners, installing the latest generation of technology from Canon Medical Systems.
Janice Feather, Director of Medical Imaging, praised the organization's coordination, which ensured the entire process was done quickly and efficiently.
Chris Andersen, Canon Medical's CT Application Specialist, says there will be one last step to complete once the new South Niagara Hospital is ready.
The organization stated the new scanners will provide faster service and expose patients to less radiation in the process.
