Minor hockey in West Lincoln is getting a digital upgrade. Games played at the West Lincoln Community Centre will now be streamed through LiveBarn.
The subscription-based service allows fans to watch games live or on demand for up to 30 days, making it easier for families and supporters who can’t attend in person.
Cynthia Summers, Director of Community and Protective Services for West Lincoln, says accessibility plays a big part in why they chose to go in this direction.
A single subscription also provides access to LiveBarn streams at arenas across Canada and the U.S.
Summers explains that it's not only hockey that can be streamed.
Expanding the service to other sports could also happen in the near future.
West Lincoln residents can save 10 per cent by using the Township’s promo code twla-rena. Existing subscribers can update their profile to apply the discount.
