A Welland-born furniture company has come full circle with the opening of its new flagship store on Niagara Street.
Leon’s Furniture celebrated the opening of its new 44,000-square-foot location across from Seaway Mall, more than 117 years after the company opened its first store in Welland.
The special reception included Welland Mayor Frank Campion and members of the Leon family, celebrating the company’s roots in the community where it all began.

The new Leon's Centre development also includes several other businesses expected to open later this summer and fall.
