More than 70,000 visitors are expected in West Lincoln over the next few days for the International Plowing Match.
The annual event is held every year in a different rural municipality in Ontario - with West Lincoln's Grassie being the 2025 host.
Mayor Cheryl Ganann says it's a great opportunity to showcase the area to those from far and wide.
Ganann says putting everything together in the leadup to the event has been quite the task, but they're now ready to go.
During the first day of festivities, a number of notable names were in attendance including Ontario Premier Doug Ford, and Niagara West MPP Sam Oosterhoff.
The International Plowing Match runs until Sunday.
