As kids get set to go back to school in a couple weeks, The Hope Centre in Welland is working hard to make sure they have everything they need.
The Hope Centre has partnered with Canadian Tire for the annual Snack and Sneakers event - giving out a free pair of sneakers to hundreds of children in Welland tomorrow.
Jennifer Sinclair from The Hope Centre says there's no catch - it's as easy as it sounds.
Sinclair says partnering with a large organization like Canadian Tire for something so local is important.
Sneakers and snacks will be given away at the Welland Main Arena tomorrow starting at 10:00am, until supplies last.
