Habitat for Humanity Niagara is building its latest townhouses - and is looking for families to fill them.
The six townhouses, located at Plymouth Road and First Street, broke ground last week as volunteers are now hard at work on site.
Manager of Communications Dawn Cavasin says eligible families in the region are encouraged to apply.
Selected homebuyers will purchase the home through an affordable mortgage, with monthly payments about 40% of their gross household income.
Cavasin says getting into a Habitat home is life-changing for a lot of families, as they're usually not in great situations to begin with.
Cavasin says the townhouses should be completed and ready for move in next year.
