Niagara Catholic is welcoming 41 educational leaders from the Netherlands this week to showcase its approach to inclusive and equitable education.
The group is visiting November 5th and 6th to learn about the school board’s work supporting students with different needs and abilities.
Superintendent of Education Gino Pizzoferrato explains the inclusion model.
On Thursday, discussions at the Catholic Education Centre on Rice Road will focus on special education, accessibility, student well-being, diversity and belonging, along with leadership and inclusive teaching practices.
On Friday, the visitors will tour Niagara Catholic schools to see those approaches in action and learn how they’re being put into practice in classrooms.
