Welland's Concerts on the Canal Music Search is complete, after dozens of local artists took to the stage at Seaway Mall this passed weekend.
Supervisor of Festivals and Events Erin Carl says there was a wide range of sounds throughout the weekend.
The music search idea was new for the city this year, after wanting to put an emphasis on local talent, according to Carl.
First place: Revolver and Friends (A fully tracked and mixed song at ToneHenge Recording Studio, plus a live on-air feature on Country 89’s New Music Fridays)
Second place: Charissa ($500 gift card to Long & McQuade Music Store)
Third place: Gravely (A band photoshoot with photographer Paul Schmidt)
