Big Brothers Big Sisters of Niagara recognized the Ontario Trillium Foundation’s support during a special event at its Nearly New Thrift Store.
The acknowledgement took place Thursday as part of Big Brothers Big Sisters Day, a celebration held across Niagara to highlight the life-changing impact of mentorship on children and youth.
We spoke with Executive Director of Big Brothers Big Sister's Niagara, Erin Graybiel, who talks about Thursday's recognition.
Erin states the importance of mentorship programs for youth in the Niagara Region.
MPP Wayne Gates and a representative of the Ontario Trillium Foundation were also in attendance to acknowledge the accomplishments made possible through the grant.
