Data is staggering
The OPP is out with a reminder about how dangerous distracted driving after recent data shows deadly results from the activity.

Schmidt says the number of preventable distracted driving deaths for last year was shocking.
The Sergeant also wants to drive home that it's not just one factor that's distracting drivers.
He says the consequences are very serious. Aside from a hefty fine if you're caught, you could cause a death, either yours or someone else's.
