IceDogs, Yermolenko shut out Steelheads

Vladislav Yermolenko was perfect on 30 Brampton shots, recording his first OHL shutout, in a 4-0 win over the Steelheads at the Meridian Centre.

After a scoreless first, Kevin He scored his 9th of the season. The goal was his 181st point in his career with the IceDogs, vaulting the Captain to 10th on the all-time Niagara scoring list.

Alex Hage, Hayden Reid and Ryan Roobroeck added 3rd period markers to close out the scoring but the night belonged to Vlad. The import netminder was steady all night and spectacular when he had to be in  Niagara's 5th straight win.

The IceDogs head north tomorrow for a Sunday afternoon North Bay matchup with the Battalion. New Country 89.1 will have the call beginning with the pre-game at 1:45.
