A stolen vehicle fleeing from a traffic stop has resulted in charges for a Welland man.
Thursday afternoon, police stopped a stolen car near Court and King Streets in St. Catharines, before the suspect fled and immediately hit another driver.
After a short foot pursuit, 26-year-old Braeden Tabbert was arrested and is now facing 17 charges, stemming from assaulting a peace officer to possession of a weapon.
